Homeless Youth Article

As a rough estimate, 1,800,000 Teens every year are made homeless because of discrimination, prejudice or abuse. 

These numbers simply are unacceptable to us!, that is why we work so hard to find this amazingly brave teenagers and provide them with safety, security and a nurturing environment.

Housing

We have Two Distinct categories for Homeless Youths, Those that can live completely independently and those who cannot.

Youths (aged 11-18)
If you are in this age bracket or know someone that is and they are either homeless or thinking about running away. Here is our promise.

  • You will get your own room, with a lock, wardrobe, TV and a nice comfy bed
  • You will live with other LGBTQ People of similar age to you
  • You will be given three (3) meals everyday
  • You will have access to both a gym and a swimming pool 
  • You will have access to a Transgender specialist who can help you with "Blockers" Hormones and every surgeries as you progress.

All we ask is

  • You contact us ASAP so you are safe.
  • You must stay 100% Sober (We can help, we understand things have been difficult)
  • You work with us, to either finish high school or get your GED
  • Respect all house rules and house mates at all times.

Young Adults (aged 18-25)
If you are in this age bracket or know someone that is and they are either homeless or thinking about running away. Here is our promise.

  • You will get your own studio apartment (1 Bed) rent free for one full year
  • All bills, Electric, Gas, Water, Taxes and Internet will be covered for the year as well.
  • Careers advice & Training
  • Free meals or food to cook your own meals.
  • You will have access to both a gym and a swimming pool 
  • You will have access to a Transgender specialist who can help you with "Blockers" Hormones and every surgeries as you progress.

All we ask is

  • You contact us ASAP so you are safe.
  • You must stay 100% Sober (We can help, we understand things have been difficult)
  • You work with us, to either finish high school or get your GED
  • Respect all house rules and neighnours at all times.
